I’m Ashley, author of Wanna Be Mama B. I’ve been blogging, in one form or another, since 2000, but I’ve been a storyteller my entire life. There are few things that I love more in this world than writing something that makes people laugh or allows them to relate.

I’m a Brooklynite relocated south of the Mason-Dixon line; a wife, a puppy mama, a TV binge-watcher, and a lover of sweets (particularly partial to ice cream and birthday cake flavored Oreos).

Wanna Be Mama B. chronicles my experience with unexplained infertility including IUIs, miscarriages and IVF. I met my husband in 2011 and we nearly immediately knew that we wanted to start a family together. We married in 2013 and have been trying to conceive since. I’ll do my best to skip the crazy acronyms that come with infertility, as even I find them overwhelming and, at times, impersonal. Other than a writer (and, briefly, a baker), the only thing I’ve ever wanted to be was a mother. My body, seemingly, disagrees.
